In this environment where chronically ill patients reside during their medical care, drafts, dust, mold and deteriorating fiberglass are not welcome. In an attic with difficult access, and several different wings of varying ages, Foam Works Insulators sprayed Icynene to stabilize the attic environment and bring the upstairs guest rooms back into the comfort zone.


Converting a 100 year-old barn to a family residence is a perfect challenge for Icynene. The framing and design requirements in this building made it nearly impossible to insulate properly with conventional methods. Icynene's superior air-sealing qualities were crucial for converting this drafty barn to a cozy home.

This 5,700 s.f. residence exceeded Energy Star performance requirements in a blower door test by 20 times. On the same project, a sub- contractor installed cross-members to the garage ceiling, pictured right, two weeks too soon, and Foam Works was still able to insulate with Icynene.

Parade of Homes Award-Winner from The Preserve at Jordan Lake. When Homefront Builders entered their first Parade of Homes contest, they hired Foam Works Insulators to spray Icynene. The statement from the judging committee specifically named "the effective use of modern insulating materials" as a consideration in their judgment for this house.
